I am Matthew, the founder of Cardinal Handyman Service, which I started in 2019 with a few tools and a passion for working with my hands. 

Originally hailing from Markham, I’ve proudly called Hamilton home for the past six years. It’s not just a city to me; it’s a community filled with wonderful people whom I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and serving over the last few years.

My journey into the world of handy work began at a young age, tinkering away with tools and machinery in my grandfather’s workshop. Which led me to a career in the drilling industry that allowed me to travel around the world to work on large civil projects. The lessons I learned from my grandfather and from my role as a site superintendent gave me the skills and confidence to start my own business.

With eight years of management experience drilling and five as a handyman under my belt, I’ve honed my skills in project management, team building and carpentry. No matter the task at hand, I approach it with the same level of dedication and attention to detail as if I were working on my own home.

What truly drives me is the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of my fellow Hamiltonians.
